Though many precision agriculture technologies are available in the market today, applying them successfully on your own farm can be challenging. The Dutch Field lab for Precision Agriculture, a collaboration between farmers, professional agricultural magazine “Boerderij” and Wageningen University & Research, aims to do just this. Farmers, together with WUR-researchers, work in applying precision agriculture technologies on their own farms. All technical and agronomical challenges faced during the application of a precision agriculture technology are gathered and solved where possible. Professional agricultural magazine “Boerderij” covers the process, sharing the gathered knowledge, solutions and experiences among the Dutch agricultural community. During the three-day NPPL on Tour event, the entire Dutch agricultural sector was invited to visit the farms and see the technologies and the obtained results with their own eyes.
