The Netherlands and Japan are seeking collaboration for the digitisation of potato cultivation

With an increasing interest in smart agriculture, robotization, and automation, the importance of collaboration between the Netherlands and Japan is receiving a lot of spotlights these days.
During the virtual digitalization trade mission to Japan, Rick van de Zedde, project manager of TTADDA, highlighted how to attract the younger generation to the agricultural sector by bringing in high technology tools such as AI and deep learning. This article introduces how both countries can learn from each other to not only produce high-quality potatoes but also to implement big data in the field.
